Preferences Section

The Preferences section in Originality.ai allows you to customize how the platform scans and manages your content. By adjusting your preferences, you can control which AI models are used, how scans are performed, and how results are shared or filtered.

What the Preferences Section Does

The Preferences section gives you control over the following settings:

• AI Checker Model – Select the AI detection model you want to use for your scans, helping tailor results to your content needs.
• Scan Settings – Configure default scan options, such as which types of checks to include or exclude for your content.
• Share Settings – Control whether scan results can be shared, making it easier to manage collaboration.
• Exclude URLs – Specify URLs to exclude from plagiarism, ensuring certain sources are not flagged.
• Managed Tags – Organize and categorize your scans with custom tags for easier filtering and tracking.

How to Access Preferences

To access and update your preferences in Originality.ai:

1. Log in to your Originality.ai account.
2. Click on your Account & Settings icon
3. Select Preferences from the dropdown.
4. Adjust the available options (AI Checker Model, Scan Settings, Share Settings, Exclude URLs, Managed Tags) as needed.
5. Save your changes to apply them immediately.
