How Many Words Does A Credit Scan?

Each credit scans between 50 and 100 words.

When you go to start a scan you will see two boxes that are checked by default: Detect AI and Check Plagiarism & Readability

When both of these are checked, each credit will scan up to 50 words. Meaning if you're scanning 49 words, it will cost 1 credit. If you're scanning 51 words, it will cost 2 credits

When only one of these boxes is checked--either Detect AI or Check Plagiarism--then each credit will scan up to 100 words. Meaning if you're scanning 99 words, it will cost 1 credit. If you're scanning 101 words, it will cost 2 credits.

You can see that this scan is for 200 words and has both options checked. It will cost 4 credits--50 words per credit:

When I uncheck either of the boxes, the scan costs only 200 credits--100 words per credit:

What If I'm Barely Over The Limit?

Each credit can scan a maximum of 50 to 100 words and going over this limit will result in using another credit.

Here's an example: Let's say you have 1,000 words and both boxes checked. This will cost 20 credits. If you add another word and have 1,001 words, it will cost 21 credits since each credit can only scan up to 50 words

If you have 1,000 words and only one of the boxes checked--either Detect AI or Check Plagiarism & Readability--then the scan will cost 10 credits. If you add another word and have 100,1 words, the scan will cost 11 credits since each credit will scan up to 100 words with only one box checked
