# AI Scan

The **AI Scan** feature in Originality.ai helps you determine whether a piece of content is likely written by AI, a human, or a mix of both. This feature is designed to support publishers, educators, students, agencies, and content teams in verifying the authenticity of written material.

By analyzing writing patterns and linguistic signals, AI Scan provides a clear breakdown of how content is classified.

## What the AI Scan Does

During a scan, the tool will:
